Micro Wedding... What is that?

Recently I had the pleasure of working with some very talented people for a styled non-traditional micro-wedding themed shoot. Before 2018, I had never heard of a micro-wedding; but now it's 2020 and I am seeing them everywhere. As we know, we are in the middle of a pandemic that has literally put a lot of events on pause. But for the people who wish to continue with their plans to get married regardless of Covid-19, a micro wedding is probably the way to go. With this in mind, I decided to do a bit of research and here is what I discovered:

A micro-wedding, not to be confused with an elopement is a more intimate event with 20 or less guests. It is very similar to a traditional wedding in that it contains all the same elements e.g. venue, decor, cake, photographer etc. A micro-wedding takes planning and can be as beautiful and special as a traditional wedding just with a smaller guest list.
